Syon Park is one of the most beautiful wedding venues in the UK, and the Garden Rooms marquee has a capacity of 600 seated guests, making it ideal for a larger wedding. Courtney and Gurpinder had hundreds of family and friends in attendance, many travelling from far off parts of the globe. There was an especially strong Canadian contingent, from Courtney’s side, making the day a coming together of cultures, all culminating in one of the best parties we’ve seen. The sun shone during the gorgeous outdoor ceremony, with only a few pauses as the low-flying planes roared past. The proximity to Heathrow means that yes, you’ll see planes. Lots of planes. But this adds flavour to the footage and we included them in the film because they added a unique touch and the theme here is travel, so it seems appropriate! As usual, the staff at Syon Park were friendly and helpful, and the DJs from Kudos were as always amazing. Courtney and Gurpinder decided to forgo readings during the ceremony and there were no speeches, so there’s less dialogue than usual in this wedding film, which was an interesting challenge! Still, we crafted the story visually and with a focus on the awesome party, reflecting the energy and enthusiasm of the day. I love the simplicity of the story and the dance floor action, and I hope you do too :)
“Party’s This Way” – Courtney & Gurpinder
Courtney and Gurpinder were amazing to work with, and both looked like movie stars on the day. With so many loved ones in attendance, there were smiles throughout the day, and their newborn baby was one of the stars of the show. We wish you and your family all the best for the future. Congratulations once again – amazing times ahead!
