Great Fosters in Egham, Surrey, is one of our favourite venues, and it was such a pleasure to return to this grand location. The gardens are amazing, and the building has so much history, going back to its time as one of Henry VIII’s royal hunting lodges. Katie and James held their beautiful wedding ceremony nearby in St Mary’s Church, with the guests arriving and departing in Routemaster buses – a nice touch :) As you can see, the bride and groom looked fabulous and their spirit of adventure was clear throughout the day, so the title of their wedding film is very apt :)
“A Life of Adventure” – Katie & James
Katie and James were up for anything on the day, including giving us a quick preview of their first dance, which was wonderful. The film shows their sense of humour as well as their passion and sense of fun, and these same qualities were reflected in the people around them. There wasn’t enough time in the Short Story to include the best man’s remarkable account of James having his brand new iPhone stolen and replaced with a pork pie, but of course that legendary tale was revealed in the main film :)
Thank you so much Katie and James for being such an absolute pleasure to work with, before, during and after your wedding. You deserve all the love and happiness which we witnessed on the day, and long may it continue.
Congratulations to you both :)
