Simply Stunning: Wedding Film at Keble Chapel Oxford

Wedding locations don’t get much more impressive than Keble College Chapel and Rhodes House at Oxford University, the perfect backdrops for a wedding film. But what made this occasion truly unique was the awesome couple and their wonderful guests.

“So Proud Of You” – Amy & James

If you need any further evidence that our clients really are the coolest people on the planet, then this little wedding film should remove all doubt. We love smart, funny couples who have great taste and know how to let their hair down. Of course, the Oxford University locations were amazing – first the ceremony at Keble College Chapel then the reception at Rhodes House, but it’s the people in our films who are the stars. Amy and James are just perfect together and they have the best group of friends. Our films are driven in large part by the words spoken on the day, and in that respect we were spoiled, with amazing speeches by the groom, best man and the father of the bride. Just the right balance of humour and poignancy – well done all! The most emotional aspect of the day was the mention of James’s mother, who was there in spirit, and we paid homage to that in the title of the film.

Very best wishes to a gorgeous couple, it was an honour to share the day with you both.

New Year, New Design :)

Happy New Year everyone!

2014 was simply amazing, with so many gorgeous couples, stunning venues, and bucketfuls of love :)

2015 is shaping up to be even better. To kick it off we have a new logo and a new look to the website, which we feel really reflects our work and our philosophy. We wanted something romantic, timeless, beautiful and whimsical, and we love what our designer came up with. In his words, “the continuous line represents infinity, and endless love”.

So here is the new Pretty in White design, alongside the lovely Leena & Johnny!

Downton Abbey Wedding Video: Highclere Castle

Here’s something really special for Downton Abbey fans, a wedding video filmed at one of the UK’s most famous and well loved venues, Highclere Castle :)

“My Cup Overflows” – Karen & David

There are many elements which can make a film stand out, but Karen and David’s amazing wedding at Highclere Castle had it all. A gorgeous couple, heartfelt and deeply moving speeches, a beautiful ceremony and of course the stunning location (Highclere Castle is where Downton Abbey is filmed, and is simply breathtaking!). On top of that, we witnessed the most incredible send-off we’ve ever seen, courtesy of Aurora Fireworks. That final shot took some planning, but was well worth the effort :) Thanks so much to Aurora for helping us capture their work in all its glory. It was a genuine honour to witness the boundless love between the newlyweds, and of course we loved the opportunity to capture all the little details of the magnificent venue. Hopefully we’ll have the chance to return to this historic location soon. Even if you’re not a Downton Abbey fan, it’s impossible not to be bowled over by the unique beauty of the castle and the grounds. What a perfect backdrop for a wedding video :) Wow!

Karen and David are a wonderful couple and we wish them the very best for the future.

Sweet Wedding at University Women’s Club: Jennifer & David

Big weddings with hundreds of guests can be great fun, but sometimes a smaller more intimate occasion can make for a really beautiful and engaging wedding film. Jennifer and David are such a sweet couple and were a pleasure to work with, and Jennifer’s Dad gave an awesome speech, full of heart and sincerity. We managed to steal the newlyweds for a few minutes, to film some lovely romantic shots in the library of the University Women’s Club, and I’m so glad we did. The UWC is a gorgeous, unique venue and for a smaller wedding it’s just perfect and located right in the middle of London. The ceremony was also in the library. Look how beautiful the light is, coming in from those big windows! Yum :)

We love photographers, especially team players, and it was great to work alongside John Nassari from Indigo Images. A really nice guy who made our jobs so much easier.

Wishing the happy couple a wonderful future. Enjoy the film :)

Gorgeous English-Australian Wedding in Hampshire: Jayne & Chris

Forever & Always

Imagine finding the love of your life on the other side of the world, and having to leave your friends and family so you can follow your heart. The joy of discovering your soul mate, tinged with the sorrow of so many goodbyes. It was such an emotional day and one we will never forget. Lots of happy tears, and a few sad ones.

We had an amazing time filming Jayne and Chris’s beautiful wedding at Silchester House, on the Berkshire / Hampshire borders. And what a gorgeous couple!  We were lucky enough to escape the rain for the most important part of the day – the ceremony! Outdoor ceremonies are really lovely, but we are at the mercy of a higher power, and although the heavens threatened to open up (and indeed they did later on) we experienced nothing but beautiful sunshine for the 15 minutes of the wedding ceremony. As you can see, Silchester House is very picturesque, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The photographer that day was the fantastic Martin Hobby from the appropriately named “Awesome Wedding Photography” :) Check out his website, the man is a legend!

Many congratulations to the happy couple. And thank you so much for helping us get that awesome final shot – it was worth it :)

A Love Story at the Shangri-La Hotel in London: Siming & Mou

Ready For You Always

We made a little “love story” for Siming and Mou, who are such a sweet couple and working with them was pure joy :) This film will be shown to the guests on their wedding day in China – I wish we could be there to see the reaction! Filmed at the exclusive Shangri-La Hotel at The Shard in London, where we had fantastic views of the city skyline. We then went to London Bridge for some pretty sunset shots surrounded by lots of tourists and commuters, before coming back to the hotel for the night time proposal scene.
